Launch party of the NZ Society for Mountain Medicine

Launch party of the NZ Society for Mountain Medicine, 30 January 2020

One of the goals of the Society is to connect people with a shared passion for mountain medicine with each other.

What better way to do so than by having a party?
On a day when a strong gale was forecast, we were smiled on by the weather gods and even managed to have a small fire pit fire without flying embers.

Everybody knew somebody, but nobody had previously met everybody. At then end of the evening we felt like we were the foundation members of a very promising, organically evolving member driven society.

Conversation flowed freely and by the time it was dark we had totally forgotten to take a proper group photo, so apologies for the quality.
